August 24th, 2025, I took part in the Local Author Book Fair at The Read Queen in Lafayette, CO.

July 2025 I traveled down to Arizona for a little getaway, and to attend the International Impact Book Awards Gala in Phoenix. I met so many other inspiring authors who are changing the world.

June 2025: Vangie is still working hard to bring you the audiobook.

I will be traveling to Phoenix in July for the International Impact Book Awards Gala, where I will collect my award.

I am working on recording a couple of commercial spots to be played on Resist Radio.

April 2025: Been a while since my last update. Sorry! Vangie Gunn is working hard on recording the audiobook. It should be ready any time now.

I won the April 2025 International Impact Award for A Love Letter to Reading for Women’s Fiction, Women’s Empowerment.

Beginning to make Francis into an ebook.

12/16/24 I have approved the formatting of the book itself for ABN, and they have reformatted the cover.

12/5/24 I have begun the process working with Audiobook Network to develop the audiobook.

12/3/24 Fulton has created my book webpage. We will also begin working on the press release.

11/27/24 eBook is available for $9.99 on Kindle and Barnes & Noble.

11/10/24 A HUGE THANK YOU to all of the people supporting my book! Books started arriving last week for a lot of you. It means everything to me to have your support.

11/5/24 Fulton has created a trailer for ALLTR available on YouTube and I have posted the link.

10/29/24 Francis. Kindle Vella has announced it will be shutting down the program. I will begin removing Francis from Vella. I am hoping to print short stories instead.

10/28/24 ALLTR Paperback available on B&N and Amazon. Files being converted to ebook format for ebook.

10/24/24 A Love Letter to Reading is currently in publishing. I have approved the printed paperback for distribution. A release date will be coming soon.

9/20/24 A Love Letter to Reading: I have approved the cover revision and next it will go to the printer.

8/27/2024 A Love Letter to Reading: The art department sent me a cover to approve. I absolutely love it but I have asked for a couple minor changes to fit the character more.

7/25 - 7/31/24 A Love Letter to Reading: Page design has been completed and approved after correcting some errors.

6/26-6/28/24 A Love Letter to Reading: edits have been approved and completed. The book is being sent to Page Design next.

5/29-6/6/24 Getting established with Fulton Books.

5/22/24 A Love Letter to Reading has been approved for publication with Fulton Books!

5/14-5/16/24 A Love Letter to Reading has been submitted to Fulton Books for approval. I am nervous. I know if it’s meant to be, it will be, but I can’t help but get anxious about what they think about it.

April and May A Love Letter to Reading. I am putting finishing touches on my book. Having my in-house editor look it over and also be my beta reader. Haha.

March 2024 Francis may get pulled from Vella. I have decided I may publish these short stories as ebooks or something because of restrictions within Vella.

February 2024 A Love Letter to Reading is near completion and I have begun speaking with publishers, hybrid publishers, and other writers who chose the self-publish route. Big decisions. I am leaning hybrid.

Winter/Holiday season: I have decided to focus on ALLTR right now. I have been in the zone on that story and have had to direct my focus to that one for now but Francis will return.

Fall 2023 Francis: A Journey of Ascension. I began writing episodic short stories on Kindle Vella. I try to publish them weekly.

Spring 2023 A Love Letter to Reading: I spoke with some producers and professional filmmakers about ALLTR and after much consideration, I have decided to commit to writing ALLTR into a book for now and finish what I started. Writing this book has its challenges and gardening has become my mental break when I write tough things. I had started the book towards the end of 2022. I have a lot to say to tell the story and do the characters justice that won’t all translate on screen.

2022 I have been submitting my screenplay, A Love Letter to Reading to various screenplay competitions. I have written several variations of it. I intend for it to be a limited series. In Fall, I moved onto quarterfinals in one competition.
